Threat Intelligence Teams- Palo Alto Unit 42 and Cisco Talos

 Today I am going to talk about the threat intelligence teams of Palo Alto and Cisco. Palo Alto has threat intelligence named Unit 42 and Cisco has threat intelligence named Talos. We will talk about both the threat intelligence teams.

Palo-Alto Unit 42 Threat Intelligence
Palo Alto Unit 42 is the global threat intelligence team. They consider that the threat intelligence should always be available and free to understand and know about the day to day threats . 

They bring high-quality, in-depth investigation on challengers, malware clans and attack operations. Unit 42 Teams experts expose and record adversary performances, and then allocate playbooks that give vision into the numerous tools, methods and processes threat actors perform to negotiation organizations.

Palo Alto’s Unit 42 gathers that information from all  sources which includes internal and external. It concluded a comprehensive threat analysis procedure that comprises not only programmed systems to associate inbound information but also expert human analysis to translate the data, identify patterns, formulate propositions and estimate them beside complete data set.

Cisco Talos Threat Intelligence
Cisco Talos is a Security Intelligence and Research Group (Talos) is completed up of controlling threat researchers maintained by high-level systems to produce threat intelligence for Cisco products that detects, analyzes and protects against both known and emerging threats.

Whether recognizing new malware groups affecting point-of-sale terminals, extensive  networks, or even threats that position a risk to network services on the internet, Talos can be counted on to identify, research and document adversaries.

Cisco Talos has constructed one of the most wide-ranging intelligence collecting and analysis manifestos in the industry. Through the ClamAV, SNORT, Immunet, SpamCop, Talos Reputation Center, Threat Grid, and other Talos user groups receive valuable intelligence which can’t be matched by any of the security research team across the globe.
