Comparison between Juniper EX4300, EX4600 and EX4650 Switches

Today I am going to talk about the comparison between Juniper Access switches Juniper EX4300, EX4600 and EX4650 switches. Let’s start to talk about all these switches one by one.

About Juniper EX4300 Access Switch
Juniper EX4300 is a fixed configuration platform and can be used in the LAN network as standalone, virtual chassis, Virtual Chassis Fabric, or Junos Fusion switching architecture, satisfying a variety of high-performance campus and data center access needs.

The EX4300 can also be used in a QFX5100-based Virtual Chassis Fabric switching architecture, which permits up to 20 interconnected EX4300, QFX3500, QFX3600, and QFX5100 switches to activate as a low-latency, high-performance 1GbE/10GbE/40GbE data center fabric that is managed as a single device.

The EX4300 line features 24 and 48-port 10/100/1000BASE-T models and a 32-port 100BASE-FX/1000BASE-X SFP model. On the fiber-based switches, four fixed front-panel uplink ports accommodate 1GbE or 10GbE optics for high-speed backbone or link aggregation connections.
