New Launch : Aruba 8400-X Core and aggregation Switch Competition to Cisco
Aruba is come up with the new launch today for the campus environment. Aruba launches a new Core and aggregation switch with high qualities. Aruba (HP company) targeting market with their high end core switch and going to compete Cisco, Juniper in their race.
Regarding the operation system in Aruba 8400-X core switch, it uses the new ArubaOS-CX, a modern software system for the core that automates and simplifies many critical and complex network tasks. It is said by Aruba that they have the unique Aruba Network Analytics Engine which provides the ability to monitor and troubleshoot the network, system, application and security- related issues easily, through simple python agents and REST APIs.
As per commented by the Aruba, the newly launched Aruba Core switch Aruba-8400X will provide you the industry-leading line rate 10GbE/40GbE/100GbE port density, very low latency, and scalability for support of full Internet routes. Giving challenge to other vendors in the market, Aruba 8400X is one of the Aruba’s Mobile First switching portfolio with an enterprise core and aggregation solution that ensures higher performance and higher uptime.
Aruba with new Switch Aruba 8400-X which will going to compete Cisco and Juniper in the campus networks. Cisco soon will launch with the new series of catalyst switches which will be in straight competition with Aruba and Juniper.

With the Aruba OS-CX( Aruba based OS system), it has built with OVSDB to support a database-centric operating system so that customer have higher availability with much better dynamic software process changes for reduced downtime, and more importantly, built with Linux as its underpinning.
With the help of Aruba 8400-X core switches, you can achieve up to 19.2 Tbps switching capacity with up to 7.142 billion packets per second (BPPS) for throughput and that is really a excellent throughput in the core for the campus networks and all switching and routing is performed in the I/O modules. Surely you are going to meet the demands of bandwidth-intensive applications today and in the future.
If you are looking for the hardware information, let me tell you that with Aruba 8400-X, you can have. Below are the hardware details for the Core switch
