Cisco CloudCenter Solution Basics
The generation is new and people are moving to cloud for various solution. Most of the cases where people want the solutions on Software-as-a-service or so called as SAAS. I knew there are lot of vendors working on these kinds of solution over the globe but here i am specially touched upon the cisco based solution called as Cisco Cloud Center. Although with the help of Cisco Cloud Center we have various solutions and use cases to work upon.

History
Cisco Cloud Center formerly known as CliQr and is generally used for secure, deploy and manage various applications in Datacenter, Public Cloud and Private Cloud. So it is very helpful for the enterprise or datacenter customers to deploy applications securely in their environment or onto the cloud. On April 15, 2016, Cisco completed the acquisition of CliQr Technologies, Inc which provide the cloud based solution and named as Cisco CloudCenter Solution.
Moving forward, CliQr and Cisco already deepen the integration across Cisco’s data center portfolio. Together CliQr and Cisco made it simpler for customers to automate and manage application policies across the entire data stack. CliQr is already integrated into a number of Cisco’s data center switching and cloud solutions including Cisco’s Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) and Unified Computing Systems (UCS) solutions.

Cisco CloudCenter improves IT speed and agility while also reducing complexity by separating and optimizing workloads for users, who can quickly and easily model, deploy, and manage applications in any environment, and for administrators, who get visibility and governance control across boundaries of applications, clouds, and users.

Users no longer have to deal with cloud-specific APIs or configuration. Cisco CloudCenter abstracts away the back-end infrastructure, making the application the focal point of the user experience.

CliQr and Cisco together achieve a lot of customer confidence and provide the solution what they required in their platform. There are lot of use cases what Cisco is addressing from Cisco Cloud Center solution but i will have some of them are
- Deliver hybrid IT as a service
- Onboard and manage applications
- Deploy application in an Cisco ACI infrastructure
- Deploy automatic Application in a Cisco UCS environment.
- Deploy on demand to a datacenter or cloud infrastructure
Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS): Processing, storage, networks, and other fundamental computing resources that are provisioned and delivered over the Internet on a pay-as-you-go basis, and primarily targeted at IT Operations teams.
Software as a Service (SaaS): Applications delivered to end users over the Internet on a subscription basis. The applications are accessible from various client devices through a thin client interface such as a web browser (e.g., web-based email).
Platform as a Service (PaaS): Software development frameworks and components delivered over the Internet on a pay-as- you-go basis, primarily targeting Application Developer teams.
