Introduction to Fatpipe SDWAN Basics

Today I am going to talk about another player in the SDWAN space named as Fatpipe networks. As we discussion the various vendor solutions in SDWAN space and the approach is the same across all the SDWAN OEMs.

Introduction to FAT PIPE SDWAN solution
Fat Pipe’s SDWAN hybrid networking products deliver solutions to these latest network or company’s requirements. A business can simply add cost effective direct Internet access at a branch to upsurge available bandwidth.

FatPipe's cutting-edge policy management permits cloud destined applications to be routed directly out of the local Internet connection while maintaining corporate security policies.

FatPipe uses the multi-path security, and manages application flows, and load balances them across the multiple paths between the data center and remote site. With multi-path security, network managers have incredible granular control of how the flows are load balanced.

Factors such as latency, packet loss, jitter, and point-to-point bandwidth can all be used to dynamically load balance traffic ensuring the best network experience possible for users. As an added bonus, in the event of a path failure sessions will not fail.

For having the VoIP call, you will not drop if there is a link outage; the call will have a sub-second failover to an available route.

Use cases of FATPIPE SDWAN Solution

High-bandwidth application support: Software-Defined WAN (SD-WAN) solution permits organizations who are not willing to excess their network bandwidth but take the advantage of video conferencing and collaboration applications, to use that much bandwidth they need when they need it, and then turn it off.

Policy-based forwarding: In case of bandwidth limitation SD-WAN will allow the enterprises to prioritize their communications on the basis of the policy-based networks.

Make use of IOT Networks: SD-WAN will provision millions of connections and the data flowing between them in spite of intelligent sensors and other devices. Organizations have various changing needs in case of their WANs with business-critical applications requiring intelligent routing of the traffic through multiple WAN links.

Increased number of branch offices and remote users are the facts that drive organizations to find more efficient and low-cost techniques to add a variety of network connections.

Fatpipe has three different licensing models which have different capabilities and these licensing models are Basic, Advanced and Pro licensing models.
