Cisco Meraki and Wi-Fi 6 ( IEEE 802.11ax ): Meraki MR55

Today I am going to talk about the Cisco Meraki newly launched access points which supports Wi-Fi 6 or IEEE 802.11ax standards. Cisco Meraki launched MR45 and MR55 with the 802.11ax standards. Here in this article we are going to talk about the Cisco Meraki MR55 model

Cisco Meraki MR55 Access Point
Cisco Meraki MR55 is a cloud-managed 8x8:8 802.11ax compatible access point that increases the wireless performance and effectiveness. Intended for next-generation implementations in offices, schools, hospitals, shops, and hotels, the MR55 delivers extraordinary throughput, enterprise-grade security, and simple management.

Cisco Meraki MR55 delivers an extreme of 5.9 Gbps cumulative frame rate with synchronized 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz radios. A committed third radio offers real-time WIDS/WIPS with automated RF optimization, and a fourth incorporated radio brings Bluetooth scanning and beaconing.
