CCIE Routing & Switching V5 replaced by CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure v1.0 certification: Topics details

As there is the change in the Cisco certification by Cisco, CCIE Routing & Switching V5 will be replaced by new CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure v1.0 certification which will be started from Feb 24, 2020. The Exam code will be ENCOR 300-401.

There are below scenarios in case you are approaching CCIE Routing & Switching V5

1. If you pass the current CCIE Routing and Switching Written v5.0 exam before February 24, you’ll be eligible to take the new CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure v1.0 lab exam after February 24.

2. After February 24, the CCIE Routing and Switching Written v5.0 exam will be replaced with ENCOR 300-401. After you pass ENCOR 300-601, you will earn the Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Core certification.

3. If you complete the entire CCIE Routing and Switching certification before February 24, then on February 24, you’ll automatically receive the new CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure v1.0 certification, which can be maintained as per new recertification guidelines, and you will also receive the Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Core certification.

CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure v1.0 certification will be divided into two parts
  • ENCOR 300-401
  • LAB Exam
ENCOR 300-401 Topics
There are 6 sections for the Exam and these six sections are:
